After working a whole month without a day off, I felt like going for a long drive. That feeling morphed into a trip to Sunrise, Mount Rainier. It's about a 2 hour drive from Tacoma. I was only able to hike for a few hours before having to head for home but I will be back.
UPDATE: In my current job, July is a very busy and stressful month for me. In August 2013, I was exhausted both physically and mentally when I made the decision to go somewhere alone. That decision evolved into a hike at Sunrise. I went back in August 2014 and again in October 2015. So I've added a few more photos.
